Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

Booking Muscle & Mischief should feel exciting — these terms are here to keep it that way for everyone.
1. Booking Policy
Enquiries do not guarantee a booking. Bookings are only confirmed once accepted by Muscle & Mischief and the deposit has been paid. Clients must be 18 or over.
2. Deposit
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. No date is reserved until the deposit has been received. The deposit is deducted from the final balance.
3. Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event. Bookings made within 14 days require full payment at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation by Client
Deposits are non-refundable. More than 14 days' notice: no further payment beyond the deposit. Within 14 days: 50% of the total booking fee payable. Within 48 hours or no-show: 100% of the booking fee payable.
5. Changes
One date change may be permitted with at least 14 days' notice, subject to availability. Further changes may incur an administration fee.
6. Cancellation by Muscle & Mischief
If cancellation is necessary due to illness or circumstances beyond reasonable control, an alternative date will be offered where possible. If not possible, payments received will be refunded.
7. Travel & Additional Charges
Travel within 20 miles of my business base is included in your booking price. Travel Charges: Up to 20 miles — Included; 21–40 miles — £30; 41–60 miles — £60; 61–80 miles — £90; 81–100 miles — £120; Over 100 miles — Quoted individually. For bookings requiring overnight accommodation, accommodation costs and reasonable travel expenses will be agreed in advance. Parking fees, congestion charges and tolls (where applicable) will be added to your final invoice. Travel is calculated from my business base and any additional costs will always be discussed and agreed before your booking is confirmed. Flexibility: travel charges may be reduced or waived at the discretion of Muscle & Mischief for multiple bookings, promotional events or other special circumstances.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate event details and ensure the venue is safe, legal and suitable.
9. Behaviour Policy
Muscle & Mischief reserves the right to end a booking without refund in cases of abusive, threatening, discriminatory, illegal or unsafe behaviour.
10. Photography & Marketing
Photos or videos will only be used for promotional purposes with appropriate consent. Clients may opt out.
11. Privacy
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control.
13. Liability
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking except where prohibited by law.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
